Leopardite Jasper’s Cream and Ochre Mosaic

Peach, tan and grey patches gather across the cream-to-off-white face of this leopardite jasper pendant. Dark brown, nearly black and ochre borders trace their irregular rounded shapes, giving the pale surface a lively mosaic character. Fine speckling adds another layer of detail, while bright white highlights give the face and rounded outer edge a glossy appearance.

The circular doughnut shape offers a simple counterpoint to that intricate pattern, with a round opening at its heart and a smooth-looking surface. These colours could belong to an imagined luminous cavern: creamy walls, peach alcoves and dark shadows outlining each curve. On the pendant itself, the central opening makes a clear little window amid all those wandering borders.
