Amethyst, Lavender Light and Dark Corners
Lavender and whitish crystal faces brighten this Amethyst’s densely textured surface, while deeper purple and charcoal-coloured areas lend it shadow. Uneven, angular crystals rise into projecting points, catching light in small flashes rather than one smooth gleam.
Around the edge, grey-green, cream and yellow-brown bands frame a roughly triangular shape. Its rounded upper end and inward notch give it an off-centre character. Amethyst’s name comes from the Greek amethystos, recalling an old belief connected with sobriety.
In a small imagined cavern, these colours could become pale-lit walls above dark recesses, with every crystal point catching a separate spark. Here, that world takes a smaller form: a crowded landscape of lavender peaks and charcoal hollows, edged with unexpected touches of cream and yellow-brown.
