Selenite, Where Moonlight Meets Flame
Milky white and a pale cream-coloured rim give this selenite candle holder a soft, luminous palette. Its straight sides rise around a circular recess, with fine vertical striations catching bright reflective highlights. It is intended for a small tea light or LED tea light.
Selenite takes its name from Selene, the Greek moon goddess—a reference to the pale, moon-like reflection it can show.
Those slender lines suggest an imagined luminous cavern: pale walls traced with ribbons, a golden glow at their centre. The cream-coloured rim could frame its entrance, a pale arch around the imaginary golden light.
