A Little Landscape in Red Jasper
Orange-red fills this red jasper donut pendant, crossed at the upper right by a broad, irregular band of cream and tan. Dark flecks and thin lines interrupt the warmth, while white and pale pink reflections catch across its glossy face and rounded edges.
There is something of a tiny terraced garden in the pattern: warm paths, a pale sweep of stone, scattered dark marks like distant planting. In that imagined world, the round central opening becomes an open courtyard, its clear space framed by the richly patterned jasper.
