Granite pendant – Drop

Granite Drop, Flecked with Light

Grey and muted green-grey give this granite pendant a softly shaded palette, broken by irregular patches of black, dark brown and pale grey. Small dark specks and fine pale lines bring delicate detail to the mottling, while the smooth-looking, glossy surface carries bright white reflections across its front. The rounded drop narrows at the top and broadens toward its gently curved bottom.

Those uneven patches bring to mind a small, luminous cavern: grey-green walls, shadowy recesses and pale threads tracing a way through. Within the drop’s simple outline, the pattern feels like a landscape glimpsed in miniature, full of little contrasts to explore. Here, the white reflections become an imagined pool of light beneath the darker cavern walls.
