Brecciated Jasper — An Ember-Coloured Wing

Orange-red colour gives this brecciated jasper pendant a warm, vivid presence. Dark speckles scatter across its smooth, glossy surface, while irregular deeper patches break up the colour. Each change of tone brings a little variety to the broad sweep of the wing.

Long, curved grooves sweep through the pendant, crossed by shorter diagonal marks in a feather-like pattern. A broad rounded end gives way to a scalloped side and a tapered tip: an asymmetrical outline with its own sense of movement.
