Aventurine pendant – Dolphin tail

A Little Tide in Mint Green

Bright white highlights sweep across the smooth, glossy surface of this aventurine dolphin-tail pendant. Lighter, cloudy areas soften its pale mint green, while tiny darker specks add a fine, scattered texture. The narrow, rounded upper section opens into two broad lobes, each with a gently scalloped edge—a flowing outline with plenty of character.

Aventurine’s name comes from an Italian expression meaning “by chance,” through the name of glittering aventurine glass. That unexpected connection adds a playful note to this softly coloured, water-inspired shape.

In an imagined shallow pond, leaf islands float around a small blossom, and soft rings spread across the water. Here, the pendant’s two spreading lobes suggest a little splash held in green, just before the ripples widen.
